GCSE Statistics - This book helped me a lot last year when I did GCSE Statistics. Some of the explanations were a little rushed, and I ended up with an A grade largely because of the CGP revision guide that I bought as well. However, it dealt with the Foundaion tier stuff in great detail.
A sound guide to GCSE Stats. - This book is a clear and easy to understand guide to GCSE statistics. I have personally used it for independant study, and in that respect it has been very good. The explanations are supported by examples and practise questions, as well as exam questions at the end of each unit. Furhtermore, the colour coding for Foundation/Higher tier came in very useful, and the highlighting of topics already covered in GCSE maths on the table of contents helped me plan my work. However, a significant minority of topics are only covered hastily and again in a significant minority of cases, the answers given at the back of the book are incorrect. Therefore, I highly recomend this book but only if you also have the support of a teacher!
